SCL Bijoux Return & Refund Policy
You will have 30 days from delivery to be able to request a refund.
If you're highly organised and your item won't be gifted for a while, we recommend a few simple steps to keep it in perfect condition: first, check your purchase thoroughly to ensure it's correct and free of any faults.
Once you've confirmed everything is in order, store the item in an airtight bag; this is crucial for preventing tarnishing. Only place the item in its gift box just before you present it to the recipient. It's important that the recipient understands the gift box isn't suitable for long-term storage; you should receive a care card with your purchase to pass on to them, which provides essential tips and advice for looking after their jewellery.
Please remember that tarnishing is not a manufacturing fault—it's a natural process that can occur over time due to exposure to air and moisture. Following the advice on the care card will help keep the jewellery looking its best, and for more detailed guidance, please refer to our comprehensive care guide.
If your purchase is bespoke/made to order, we DO NOT offer refunds/exchanges on items simply unwanted/change of mind. If you receive a damaged or faulty item, you must notify us within 48 hours, and we may, by discretion exchange.
Please note, our jewellery is handmade with love, therefore, each one can be slightly different; this would only be minor though. This is not a fault but part of the items unique qualities.
Our refund policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Exclusions
Sale. Any items we have in sale are excluded from our exchange and refund policy (except where goods are faulty and not sold to you as faulty).
Earrings and pierced jewellery. In the interest of hygiene, earrings and pierced jewellery are excluded from our exchange and refund policy.
Personalised/engraved jewellery. We are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on personalised/engraved jewellery order(s). Please check all spelling and specifications before placing your order(s). We will not be held responsible for any mistakes not made on your behalf.
In order to request a return/refund, please send us an email (sclbijouxshop@gmail.com) requesting the item to be returned. Once confirmed, we will provide you with a return address and return deadline (usually within 2 weeks).
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying and arranging (including the label) for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, please allow up to 5 working days for this to show back in your account.
Please note while we endeavour to process your return as quickly as possible, this may take up to 14 days, depending on where you live or during busy periods and bank holidays.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
